Among pregnant people with singleton gestations and gestational hypertension or pre-eclampsia without severe features, does induction of labor at 36-41 weeks improve maternal morbidity and mortality compared to expectant management?

Beyond 37 weeks' gestation, induction in the setting of gestational hypertension or pre-eclampsia without severe features reduces maternal morbidity.

Outcomes

• Composite adverse maternal outcomes - HELLP, new severe pre-E, eclampsia, pulmonary edema, abruption had RR 0.71 in IOL group
