Clinical question of the day
In patients older than 50 presenting to the ED with clinically-suspected PE, is using an age-adjusted D-dimer cutoff versus conventional cutoff (>500 µg/L) associated with an increased diagnostic yield?

The clinical question of the day is a micro feature of WJC that lets readers discover new journal article summaries. Each question is taken from the "Clinical Question" section of individual article summaries. These are updated daily by User:WJCBot and stored at Template:Pico of the day. The day's PICO question can be added to any page by adding {{pico of the day}}.
