Feature requests
Have an idea for a new bot feature? Post it here. --Diberri 13:04, 21 May 2012 (PDT)
Additional Ideas
Would be nice to come up with a list of definitions for common terms in research papers (intention-to-treat analysis comes to mind). If we were to put together a definitions page, would it be possible for it to detect common terms and link to subheaders within the page? --tbplante
Lists by intervention
As we add the new intervention1= and intervention2=, have the bot make a list of these as well as identify articles missing this feature. --Tim Plante 14:38, 10 February 2013 (PST)
Check infobox parameters
Needs to make sure that author is in the right format, that the fulltexturl and pmid links don't 404, etc. --Dave Iberri (talk) 18:44, 12 June 2013 (PDT)
Orphan references
It'd be nice if the bot checked for orphan references; namely those that appear in the "Further Reading" section as bulleted items but that are never reference using proper <ref> tags in the article. --Dave Iberri (talk) 14:50, 20 June 2013 (PDT)
- I'm not sure about this, I can see instances when putting an orphaned reference would be useful. For example, with the ARDSNet trial there is a handy card to change the PEEP/tidal volume/FiO2 levels that I threw in as a reference. It would probably work better as an orphaned link, really. We called the category "further reading" and not "references used," after all. Thoughts? --Tim Plante (talk) 14:57, 20 June 2013 (PDT)
- Orphan references look funny when placed next to the list of articles referenced in the article, and that's the main reason I'm against them. --Dave Iberri (talk) 18:21, 20 June 2013 (PDT)
