bot mode
Options are "full" (do everything) or "checksum only" (just update latestTimestamp in Feed:Miscellany)
I don't actually like this idea anymore because it requires so much knowledge of the bot's innards. --Dave Iberri (talk) 13:48, 16 May 2013 (PDT)
recommended sections
For missing sections that trigger a warning on WikiJournalClub:Articles in review but still allow publication

WikiJournalClub:Clinical practice guidelines
Maintains a list of current practice guidelines, formatted like so:
 ; ACCF/AHA STEMI
 : 2013: http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/127/4/529.full
 : 2009: ...
 : 2006: ...
 : 2004: http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/110/5/588.full
 ; ACCF/AHA HF
 : 2009: http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/119/14/1977.full
 : 2007: ...
 : 2004: ...
 (you get the idea)
The bot searches each article summary's "Guidelines" section and matches guidelines, ensuring each references the most recent guideline statement. --Dave Iberri (talk) 10:05, 30 June 2013 (PDT)

Adding criticisms?

Thoughts on making a "criticisms" section a mandatory setting? That's part of my favorite piece to write. --Tim Plante (talk) 17:59, 28 February 2013 (PST)

It's a good idea, but too many articles lack this section. I've made it one of the "recommended sections" (a feature of the bot I've just now implemented). --Dave Iberri (talk) 23:05, 18 June 2013 (PDT)
